  • Represented Criminology students at SFU to the Simon Fraser Student Society

  • Helped the CCICT with ideas and programs to recruit High School students and females into CS

Communications and Electronics Engineer: Canadian Forces – 2006 – Present

  • Successfully lead subordinates in highly stressful and peacful situations, both civillian and military.
  • Successfully finished reconnaissance and Forward Operating Base Defense missions.
  • Updated the Area Support Unit Chilliwack’s intranet website to current standards.
  • Successfully completed both IAP and BOTP.

Student: Simon Fraser University – 2006 – Present

  • Working on a Bachelor of Science in Computing Science with concentrations in Computing Systems and Artificial Intelligence, a minor in Criminology and certificates in Liberal Arts and Innovative Leadership.
  • Taken no less than five classes per semester without failing a single one.
  • Maintained a 3.0 GPA while participating in many extra-circular activities.

Novice Coach: Inlet Rowing Club – 2008

  • Taught new rowers the basics of the sport of rowing.
  • Successfully had a crew of twelve learn to race in in eight in only a month and a half.
  • Crew raced in a regatta against UBC, UVic, TWU and UCFV.
  • Earned Rowing Canada Coaching Level I

Varsity Rower: Simon Fraser University – 2006 – Present

  • Maintained a personal fitness program to stay in shape.
  • Learnt to successfully row a single.
  • Raced in numerous regattas: Head of the Gorge 2006 (8+), Frostbite Regatta (8+), Elk Lake Sprints (8+, 4x, 2x, 1x), Head of the Gorge 2007 (4x, 2x), Dueling Over a Grand (1x).
  • Head of the varsity men’s team in 2007.
  • Organized all logistics for many races for the entire varsity teams, including hotel, travel, race entries, boats and equipment.
  • Organized fundraisers for the Team including one that attracted the most amount of people to the SFU pub the university has ever seen.

Resident Orientation leader: Simon Fraser University – 2007 – Present

  • Showed new residence to Canada and Vancouver around Simon Fraser University, many of whom are not proficient in English.
  • Dealt with personal conflicts between members in my clan.

Webmaster: Criminology Student Association – 2008 – Present

  • Managed the website for the CSA.
  • Upgraded the underlying structure from an HTML base to a CSS structure.

Website Developer – 2005 – Present.

Entertainment Associate: Future Shop – 2005 – 2006

  • Helped customers find products in a very unorganized situation.
  • Started the reorganization of the products in the department to increase efficiency in finding products.
  • Opened and closed the store.
  • Did basic managerial tasks such as record keeping of hours, product inventory and ordering in products.

Cook: Burger King – 2005

  • Cooked many meals, working five or more evenings a week while balancing school work and provincial exams.
  • Managed the people working in the back so during busy hours there was never a back up of orders.
  • Trained new employees on all aspects of the kitchen.

Paper Boy – 1999 – 2005

  • Delivered papers to home on a weekly basis, on time, for six years.
  • Delivered papers in all sorts of weather, from boiling hot temperatures of the summer to the freezing cold winters where everything is covered in ice.
