So Small

Posted by officerincivvies on May 22, 2008

My beret I got when I went through the QM last year in IAP was a size seven.

When I ordered my Belgian beret last summer, I ordered a size seven.

Today I decided to form my beret. At first it seemed a little tight but then I remembered my first one was a bit tight at first.

I cut out the liner, undo the fag tags, shave the beret and then sink it into a sink of cold water. Ten minute later I squeeze out the water and stretch it out. I put it on my head and start to form it.

Trench? Check.

Officer’s Wrinkles? Smoothed out.

Flap pulled to the right? Done.

Hole for my Cornflake? Cut.

Overall look of the beret? Perfect.

So what is wrong, I started to wonder. Then I realized it. It is too small and hurts my head. To solve this solution I just ordered a new beret from Logistik Unicorp, sized 7 1/8. In a week I get to do this all over. Hopefully the new one is the right size.
